What it does

Craft the satchel from string, leather and a copper ingot. Use it to pack every plain seed and crop in your main inventory into it, up to 512 items in total. Your hotbar is never touched. Crouch and use to take them back out: they fill your main inventory, and whatever doesn’t fit stays in the satchel. The item’s tooltip shows how much it’s holding.

Each satchel keeps its own contents, even when you drop it, put it in a chest or leave the world. Renamed crops and other special items stay where they are. If you die, the satchel drops like any other item, and if you remove the mod from a world, anything still inside is lost, so empty it first.

512 items in total, the same as 8 full stacks
Holds wheat, carrots, potatoes, beetroot, melon slices, sugar cane, Nether wart, cocoa beans, sweet berries and glow berries
Also holds wheat, beetroot, pumpkin, melon and torchflower seeds, plus pitcher pods
Packs from and unpacks to your main inventory only, never the hotbar
Shows its current load, like 128/512, on the item

How to install Seed Satchel

Import the .mcaddon, then turn on both packs in your world’s settings (Behavior Packs and Resource Packs). No experiments are needed. Needs Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.45 or later.
Craft at a crafting table: string in the top-left and top-right; leather in the middle-left, middle-right and bottom-middle; a copper ingot in the center.
Move your seeds and crops out of the hotbar into your main inventory. Hold the satchel and use it (right-click on Windows, tap Store / retrieve on touch screens) to pack them away.
Crouch and use to take them back. Anything that doesn’t fit stays in the satchel.
Empty every satchel before removing the mod from a world.

Which version do I have?

Minecraft Bedrock shows its version number in the bottom-right corner of the main menu. Everything on ModChest is built for Bedrock 1.26.45 and newer, on Android, iPhone, iPad and Windows. If your number is lower, update Minecraft from the store you installed it from, then import the mod.
