What it does

Aim at an ore block, crouch and use the Vein Miner Pickaxe. It breaks up to 16 blocks of that ore touching each other side by side, within 6 blocks of the one you aimed at, and drops them as ore blocks. Place them at home and mine them with your own pickaxe to get the usual drops, Fortune included, or keep them for building.

The pick has 256 durability and uses 1 point per block, so a worn pick lifts fewer blocks. Ore blocks that only touch at a corner count as a separate vein, and so do stone and deepslate versions of the same ore. Many blocks change at once, so back up your world before you try it.

How to install Vein Miner Pickaxe

  1. Import the .mcaddon, then turn on both packs in your world's settings (Behavior Packs and Resource Packs). No experiments are needed. Needs Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.45 or later.
  2. At a crafting table, put amethyst shards in all 4 corners, diamonds in the top middle and center, and sticks in the middle left and bottom middle.
  3. Aim at an ore block up to 5 blocks away, crouch and use the pick (right-click on Windows, tap Lift seam on touch screens).
  4. Pick up the dropped ore blocks. Place them later and mine them with a pickaxe that can break that ore to get its usual drops.

Which version do I have?

Minecraft Bedrock shows its version number in the bottom-right corner of the main menu. Everything on ModChest is built for Bedrock 1.26.45 and newer, on Android, iPhone, iPad and Windows. If your number is lower, update Minecraft from the store you installed it from, then import the mod.
