What it does

Hold raw iron, copper or gold and use the Ore Kiln while standing. It takes 8 of that ore and 1 coal or charcoal from your inventory and starts a batch. Each kiln holds up to 4 batches and finishes one every 20 seconds, even while your world is closed. Use it holding anything else to see the time left or to collect the oldest finished batch of 8 ingots.

Finished ingots wait in the kiln until you have room for all 8. Breaking the kiln drops finished ingots and gives back the ore and fuel from unfinished batches. You get the same ingots as from a furnace but no experience, and hoppers can't fill or empty the kiln. Named ore and fuel are never used. Anyone playing in your world can collect from your kiln.

How to install Ore Kiln

  1. Import the .mcaddon, then turn on both packs in your world's settings (Behavior Packs and Resource Packs). No experiments are needed. Needs Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.45 or later.
  2. At a crafting table, combine 4 stone bricks, 2 iron blocks, 1 furnace and 1 copper ingot to make an Ore Kiln, then place it.
  3. Carry at least 8 raw iron, copper or gold and 1 coal or charcoal. Hold the ore and use the kiln while standing (right-click on Windows, tap on touch screens) to start a batch.
  4. After 20 seconds, use the kiln holding any other item, or nothing, to collect 8 ingots. Batches come out in the order you added them.

Which version do I have?

Minecraft Bedrock shows its version number in the bottom-right corner of the main menu. Everything on ModChest is built for Bedrock 1.26.45 and newer, on Android, iPhone, iPad and Windows. If your number is lower, update Minecraft from the store you installed it from, then import the mod.
