What it does

Dig down to find cobalt ore, blue flecks in stone and deepslate between y -48 and y 16. Mine it with an iron, diamond or netherite pickaxe for raw cobalt and a little experience; Silk Touch takes the ore block itself. Smelt raw cobalt in a furnace or blast furnace, then craft cobalt tools and armor in the same shapes as iron ones. Every piece is as strong as its diamond counterpart, and every piece has a power: the pickaxe smelts iron, gold, copper, ancient debris and cobalt as you mine, the shovel pulls dropped items within 5 blocks to you, the hoe gives Haste, the axe sets what it hits on fire and the sword heals you a fifth of the damage it deals, up to 1 heart a hit. The helmet gives Night Vision, the chestplate Fire Resistance, the leggings Speed, and the boots freeze water around you into ice that melts again.

Cobalt ore only appears in chunks your world generates after the packs are on, so explore somewhere new. A power works only while you hold the tool in your main hand or wear the piece. Silk Touch turns the pickaxe's smelting off. Cobalt armor has no toughness or knockback resistance, so netherite still takes big hits better.

How to install Cobalt Ore & Gear

Import the .mcaddon, then turn on both packs in your world's settings (Behavior Packs and Resource Packs). No experiments are needed. Needs Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.45 or later.
Explore new chunks and dig down between y -48 and y 16 to find cobalt ore. Mine it with an iron, diamond or netherite pickaxe to get raw cobalt.
Smelt raw cobalt in a furnace or blast furnace to get a cobalt ingot. 9 ingots craft a block of cobalt, and a block crafts back into 9 ingots.
At a crafting table, craft cobalt tools and armor in the same shapes as iron ones, using cobalt ingots in place of iron ingots and sticks for handles.
Hold a cobalt tool in your main hand, or wear a cobalt armor piece, to use its power.
