What it does

Craft a Basalt Colossus Calling Token and use it on the ground to summon the Warden right there. It has 160 health, and a boss bar with its name appears while you are within 40 blocks. It walks after any player it can see within 24 blocks and shrugs off most knockback. Its heavy swing takes 1.5 seconds and the blow lands late, so step back when its arms go up. Each hit deals 8 damage on Normal.

Defeat it for 4 obsidian, 2 emeralds and 8 amethyst shards. It never spawns on its own and never breaks blocks, but it doesn't despawn either: it stays until beaten, even if you leave and come back. Summon it in an open space away from your home.

How to install Basalt Colossus

  1. Import the .mcaddon, then turn on both packs in your world's settings (Behavior Packs and Resource Packs). No experiments are needed. Needs Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.45 or later.
  2. At a crafting table, combine 4 obsidian, 2 blocks of iron, 1 emerald and 2 amethyst shards in any arrangement to make a Basalt Colossus Calling Token.
  3. Pick an open area at least 8 blocks across and 4 blocks high, away from your builds. Bring armor, food and a weapon, and play on Easy, Normal or Hard.
  4. Use the token on the ground (right-click on Windows, tap on touch screens). The Warden appears there and the token is used up.
  5. When its arms lift, move out of reach before the blow lands. Defeat it for 4 obsidian, 2 emeralds and 8 amethyst shards.

Which version do I have?

Minecraft Bedrock shows its version number in the bottom-right corner of the main menu. Everything on ModChest is built for Bedrock 1.26.45 and newer, on Android, iPhone, iPad and Windows. If your number is lower, update Minecraft from the store you installed it from, then import the mod.
