What it does
Aim the Railway Coupler at the cart you want in front, use it once, then use it on as many as three following carts. The linked carts keep their order and are gently pulled toward the cart ahead, making compact passenger, chest or hopper-cart trains practical on ordinary rails. Crouch-use finishes the current selection without removing the train.

Use shears directly on any linked cart to release that whole train. A cart can belong to only one train, the tool refuses duplicate links, and followers more than 16 blocks away are safely recovered beside the cart ahead. Coupling persists with the world and does not change a minecart’s inventory or type.

How to craft it
How to install Railway Coupler
- Activate both Railway Coupler packs when creating or editing a world. Needs Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.45 or later.
- Craft the Coupler at a crafting table with iron ingots, copper ingots, an iron nugget and leather.
- Hold it and use the front minecart first. Use each following cart in travel order; the action bar reports 1/3 through 3/3 followers.
- Crouch-use the tool to finish selecting. To dismantle a train, hold shears and use any linked cart.

Which version do I have?
Minecraft Bedrock shows its version number in the bottom-right corner of the main menu. Everything on ModChest is built for Bedrock 1.26.45 and newer, on Android, iPhone, iPad and Windows. If your number is lower, update Minecraft from the store you installed it from, then import the mod.
