Free2 blocksBlock mod in Building & decor

Works with Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.45 and newer

  • Android

What it does

Craft Security Cameras two at a time and place them around your base. Each camera turns to face you as you place it, so stand where you want it to look and put it against a wall, a ceiling beam or a post. Then place a Security Monitor wherever you like to keep watch.

Use the monitor and your view jumps to the nearest camera, looking out from its lens and slightly down, while you stay standing at the monitor. The line above your hotbar names the camera, like "Camera 1 of 4". Jump to switch to the next camera, from nearest to farthest and back round to the first, and crouch or use the monitor again to leave: your view comes straight back to where you stood.

A monitor sees every camera within 32 blocks of it, in any direction, and nothing farther. Your own character stays at the monitor while you watch, where mobs can still reach you, so taking damage, or walking more than a step and a half away, ends the view at once. Breaking the camera you are watching moves you on to the next one, and breaking the monitor ends the view.

  • Every camera within 32 blocks of the monitor, nearest first
  • 2 Security Cameras from 5 iron ingots, 1 glass pane and 1 redstone dust
  • Jump for the next camera, crouch or use the monitor again to come back
  • Each camera looks out 20 degrees downward, the way it was placed
  • Monitor screen glows at light level 4
  • Taking damage or stepping 1.5 blocks away ends the view

How to install Security Camera System

  1. Import the .mcaddon, then turn on both packs in your world's settings (Behavior Packs and Resource Packs). No experiments are needed. Needs Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.45 or later.
  2. At a crafting table, put 3 iron ingots across the top row, then a glass pane, a redstone dust and an iron ingot along the middle row to make 2 Security Cameras.
  3. For a Security Monitor, fill the crafting grid with 7 iron ingots, leaving the centre for a glass pane and the bottom middle for a redstone dust.
  4. Stand where you want a camera to look and place it; it faces you. Place the monitor within 32 blocks of your cameras.
  5. Use the monitor (right-click on Windows, tap on touch screens) to see through the nearest camera. Jump (space, or the jump button) for the next camera, and crouch (shift, or the crouch button) or use the monitor again to leave.
  6. Break a camera or a monitor to pick it up again.

Which version do I have?

Minecraft Bedrock shows its version number in the bottom-right corner of the main menu. Everything on ModChest is built for Bedrock 1.26.45 and newer, on Android, iPhone, iPad and Windows. If your number is lower, update Minecraft from the store you installed it from, then import the mod.
